The Zoist (Journal)
The journal of medical mesmerists in Britain during the mid-nineteenth century. It was under the direction of Dr. John Elliotson and was published from 1843 to 1856. The popular side of mesmerism was represented by The Phreno-Magnet, an-other periodical started at the same time and edited by Spencer T. Hall.
